Beryl came to us after she was living in a man’s garden for months. As the weather was getting worse, he wanted to make sure she was somewhere safe and warm.
We can only assume that Beryl was either left behind by someone, or perhaps her owner passed on and she had nowhere to go.
Beryl is a real sweetie, very friendly and affectionate and pretty confident too. She enoys sitting on your lap and having fusses. She rubs her face on you a lot and even gives little nibbles and licks when she gets excited.
Beryl is used to having some outside time, but we think she will be happy to have the comfort of a warm home and a loving family around her.
She is very sociable so a family home may be suitable for Beryl, with cat experienced children. We don’t know if she has lived with dogs before, but wouldn’t like to upset her, so a dog and cat free home would be best. Besides, she loves to be the centre of focus!
