Brian came to us when his last owner was in a time of crisis and could sadly no longer keep him.

Since being with us, Brian has been neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and we also discovered he had a heart condition.

Brian went to see the cardiology specialist at our vets who explained the significance of this condition. It turns out that there is a small hole in his heart that has likely been there since birth, and actually isn’t causing him too much of an issue. This hole is unlikely to get any bigger and although there are never any guarantees, he should cope quite well with it. He will need to see the cardiologist approximately every two years (unless she says differently) to ensure there are no complications.

Brian can be a little shy, taking a while to come around. When he does though, he is very affectionate. If he is unsure of a situation or a new person, he will let you know with a swipe!

Brian has always lived indoors and will need a home without children or dogs. Brian has lived with another cat before, but they didn’t get along!

Poor Brian wasn’t doing too well in the shelter environment and is now with a short term fosterer, but we are eager to find him a nice quiet home soon.
