Ellie came to the shelter when a kind member of the public was able to trap her after she witnessed her being clipped by a car.

This poor girl hadn’t had any human contact before this, so is so shy and timid. She thankfully didn’t have any lasting damage from the car accident, but we found out she was pregnant. She is so tiny, at 10 months old barely weighed 2kg.

Now on the mend and with some fantastic fosterers, we hope she will make a good turn around. We believe she will need lots of TLC and someone with the patience, understanding and experience with feral/very timid cats. She doesn’t have a nasty bone in her body and would rather hide than run away most of the time.

She will need an adult only home going forward and may benefit from having a feline friend to show her the ropes. She has another little foster kitty living in the foster home with her and he is providing some good company for her (this may be a match made in heaven so watch this space!).
