Lexi and her sister came to the shelter when their previous elderly owner passed away and they were left living on the streets. At 7 years old, this is not what two girls used to the comforts of a home were expecting.

Now back in a safe and warm environment, Lexi is much happier.

Lexi is settling in after a traumatic time outside, she is showing herself to be friendly and affectionate. She is just as affectionate as her sister, but her sister Molly tends to steal the limelight so Lexi doesn’t always get the opportunity to shine! We feel seperate homes for these two would be fine. Alternatively, if there are two people in the home so that neither cat is left out from fusses, they could live together again.

Lexi has now started to climb on our knee to get extra close up fusses, she doesn’t stay there long though, she usually has a blanket to make biscuits on somewhere, always busy!

Lexi is used to having outdoor access, but hasn’t lived with cats other than her sister. She had lived with a small dog, but this was over 3 months ago, so we are unsure whether she would take to another dog now. We find that most cats of an established age are quite happy being the only fluffs in the home and getting all of the attention lavished on them.

She hasn’t lived with children before and a quiet home similar to the previous one would likely be best.
