Rosie came to the shelter when her owner sadly passed away and she had to go live with relatives who had other cats and dogs.
Sadly, this lifestyle did not fit Rosie at all. She had been a one lady owned cat all of her 15 years, no other pets, and moving somewhere new was so scary. Add to that extra pets and people and she was not happy.
Now though, Rosie is in foster and settled on the first night! She was so content and had a great night’s sleep, probably the first good snooze she’s had in a while.
We are still learning about Rosie so will update as necessary and she will be having her vet check in the next few days. We think she may need a dental and will have a blood test to make sure everything is working ok. This will all be covered by the shelter, and once she’s had any treatment necessary, she can move on to a forever retirement home where she can spend her twilight years.
