Six tiny kittens were signed over to Highfield Vets after their owner couldn’t manage their severe conjunctivitis and flu. Upon arrival, they had swollen, infected eyes, heavy discharge, and stuffy noses.
Caring for kittens this sick takes round-the-clock dedication. Our team spend hours every day administering medication, cleaning eyes and noses, monitoring their progress, and following strict infection control protocols, including the use of protective suits, gloves, foot covers, disinfectant, and constant deep cleaning. This effort has cost over £500 in just two weeks.
Gordon’s eye surgery alone costs £1,000, and with neutering, vaccinations, and microchipping for all six kittens, their total care will exceed £2,500.

What does sponsoring a cat mean?
Sponsoring a cat means you’re providing vital ongoing support for all the cats and kittens in our care. Your regular donation helps cover essentials while they wait for their forever homes.
Why is there an extra donation at checkout?

Will I get updates about the cats?

Am I sponsoring a particular cat?

Is my sponsorship tax-deductible?
If you’re a UK taxpayer, you can Gift Aid your sponsorship. That means we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate at no extra cost to you. You’ll be given the option to add Gift Aid when you sign up.

You can cancel your subscription at any time! When signing up, be sure to remember your login details for Enthuse. With this platform, you will have full control over your subscription and can cancel whenever necessary.
