Happy New Year From The Sheffield Cats Shelter

So we say goodbye to 2022, and what a year it was – for us and our cats! It was the year that we celebrated our 125th anniversary, and we received a letter from Her Majesty our late Queen. It was also a year that we battled and overcame an outbreak of ringworm in our shelter, and faced rising costs and an unprecedented demand for our services – with reports of cat abandonment also on the rise.

Despite all this we managed to save and rehome over 200 cats and kittens in 2022. We couldn’t have done it without your help and support – thank you! Thank you also to all who supported our Christmas appeal. We head into 2023 with fresh enthusiasm and confidence – whatever it brings we will face it head on with you in our corner.
