On May 10th, we’re throwing a party to celebrate 128 incredible years of caring for cats and supporting their humans, right here in Sheffield and the surrounding areas. This party is more than just a celebration of our history, it’s a heartfelt thank-you to every cat lover, supporter, volunteer, and friend who has been part of our journey.
We couldn’t have done it without the amazing community around us.
This special day is all about celebrating our love for cats, showing appreciation for you, our supporters, and coming together to raise vital funds that help us continue rescuing, rehoming, and caring for cats who need us most.
We’ve got a purr-fect day planned with something for everyone, whether you’re a long-time supporter or new to the shelter, we’d love for you to be a part of it!

From Sheffield Interchange:
- 🆓 Free Shuttle (SC1) – Get off at Rockingham Street/RS2, then enjoy a 15-minute walk to the shelter.
- 🚌 Bus 6 (towards Millhouses) – Get off at Glossop Road/Clarkson Street, then it’s a 10-minute walk.

Join us alongside Dancing on Ice’s Frankie Seaman and renowned Egyptologist Joann Fletcher, for a fun-filled celebration of all things feline, It’s an afternoon dedicated to cats, community, and celebration.
We’re thrilled to welcome the amazing Sheffield Rock Choir to our celebration, performing live and bringing some serious feel-good energy to the party! Get ready for uplifting harmonies, classic hits, and a performance that’s guaranteed to have your paws tapping!

No birthday party would be complete without our very own star of the show, Travis the Cat, our beloved mascot! 🐱✨
Travis will be making a special appearance at the celebration, ready for photos, high-fives (or high-paws!), and plenty of fuss. Whether you’re a long-time fan or meeting him for the first time, don’t miss your chance to snap a selfie with this local legend!
