We are now able to offer free cat food to owners struggling to afford food for their cats in the South Yorkshire area.
As we have had some very generous donations of cat food, we currently have more than we can use of certain types of cat food.
If you need cat food, please get in touch with us at info@sheffieldcats.org.uk or our Contact Us page to request food, and we will then email you back to confirm if we have suitable food available.
Please email us with the following information:
- The type of food you would like:
- Cat biscuits or wet food pouches, or both
- Adult or senior (or another diet such as renal) – please note that we are unable to offer kitten food due to low stocks
- If your cats have any preferred brands (or if there are any brands they won’t eat)
- How many cats you have
- What date and time you would like to collect the food from us
We are open between 10 am and 3 pm every day for collections, at 1 Travis Place, S10 2DB.
Food may not always be available, so please get in touch before coming to the shelter so that you do not have a wasted journey.
The cat food is free, but if you are able to make a small donation towards helping our cats, this is appreciated.
We do not ask for any proof of income or receipt of benefits; anyone is welcome to get in touch who is struggling to afford cat food in the areas of Sheffield, Doncaster, Chesterfield or Barnsley (as long as you are able to travel to the shelter in Broomhall, Sheffield)
We are unfortunately not able to offer any other pet food (such as dog food)
