The cost of living crisis is being felt nationwide, and yet we have never needed the supporters of The Sheffield Cats Shelter as much! Our costs are rising too, and we’re facing an unprecedented demand for our services. It’s against this background that we’ve launched our 2022 Christmas campaign.
Our poster stars at the head of this post are Bourbon and Dodger. They were abandoned in a box by the side of a road aged just 5 days old. Thankfully a passer by spotted this and brought them to our shelter; they have now been adopted into a great forever home, but their story could have been very different. We’re seeing more and more cats being abandoned, which is why Bourbon and Dodger perfectly encapsulate our Christmas campaign message: every cat deserves a loving home.
